FAQ
Peptide Therapy — common questions
What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, and a peptide is simply a small sequence of them — shorter than a full protein. Peptides occur naturally in the body and act as signaling molecules. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA, and no claims are made here regarding the safety or effectiveness of any peptide.
How are peptide protocols determined?
Individually, and only after a consultation. Your provider reviews your history and your goals and determines what, if anything, is appropriate for you. Labs are not required to get started, but they are encouraged; if you have recent results, your provider is glad to factor them in. Availability is determined by your provider; we do not offer peptides from a menu without that conversation.
How are they administered?
It depends on the peptide and on your provider's direction. Peptides are available as subcutaneous injections, oral formulations, nasal sprays, and topical creams and serums. Which form applies to you, if any, is determined at consultation.
Do I need a consultation, and what does it cost?
Yes, and the consult itself is free. Peptide options at Helix Biowellness are consult-gated without exception — what's appropriate, what's available, and what it costs all depend on the protocol your provider determines for you. Most peptide programs run $150–$300/month, and you'll get exact pricing before anything begins.
Can I combine peptides with TRT or weight-loss medication?
Often, and that's one of the advantages of doing it here: one provider, one plan. Your provider will confirm what's appropriate for your situation.
Who is not a candidate?
Peptide therapy is not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active or recent cancer diagnosis, or without a medical evaluation. Your provider will review your history in full.
Where do your peptides come from?
All of our peptides come from licensed 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies. We do not source from research-chemical or gray-market suppliers.
Are peptides FDA-approved?
Peptide therapies are not FDA-approved. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. We make no claims regarding the safety or effectiveness of peptides, and nothing on this page is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. This page is informational only and is not medical advice.

How this works at Helix
Every peptide option here is consult-gated. That means a conversation with a provider comes first — your history, your labs where relevant, your goals — and your provider determines what is appropriate for you, if anything.
There is no self-serve peptide menu at this clinic. Pricing is determined at consultation, because what you’d be quoted depends entirely on the protocol your provider determines — though most programs land in the $150–$300/month range, so you’re not walking in blind.
Peptides we offer
We’ve organized the peptides available at Helix BioWellness® by the areas patients most often ask about, so you can see where each one fits. Which peptides, if any, are right for you is something your provider will work through with you at your consult. This list is for information only and isn’t a recommendation or a claim about what any peptide does.

Pricing
Peptide therapy is individualized, so we price it at consultation rather than from a fixed menu. Everywhere else on this site, every price is listed on the page — that’s how we prefer to work, with transparency and no hidden fees or surprises. Peptides are the one deliberate exception: which peptides, what dosing, and the right protocol are determined by your provider based on your goals, and a published price list would imply a menu of choices that isn’t how this is offered.
To get started, book your free peptide consult. From there your provider builds your protocol and gives you exact pricing before anything begins — no surprises, same as the rest of our care.
Most peptide programs range from $150–$300/month depending on your protocol. Members receive a discount on peptide therapy — see Memberships for tiers.
Before you book
A peptide consult is a free conversation with a provider about whether any of this is appropriate for you. It is not a purchase, and you should not arrive expecting a specific protocol.
If you want to understand your baseline first, functional lab testing is where most of our patients start.
