FAQ

HydraFacial — common questions

What makes the Syndeo different from an older HydraFacial device?

Syndeo is the newest generation of the HydraFacial platform. It's cordless and personalized at the handpiece, which means your provider can adjust suction and serum delivery in real time as they move across your face — lighter through the cheeks, more deliberate through the T-zone. Practically, it means one treatment can be calibrated to several different skin zones instead of running the same settings everywhere.

Is there any downtime?

None to speak of. Most clients walk out and go straight back to their day. Some people notice a little pinkness for an hour or two, particularly after extended extractions on the Platinum. Individual results vary.

How often should I come in?

Skin turns over roughly every four weeks, so monthly is the rhythm most clients settle into. If you're preparing for something specific — a wedding, a reunion, a photo shoot — we'd rather see you a week out than the day before, so any pinkness has time to settle.

What's included? Are there upsells at the chair?

Everything in your tier is included, and no. Cleansing, exfoliation, resurfacing, extraction and hydration are the core of every treatment. Red-light therapy and the Jan Marini finish are part of the Deluxe and Platinum tiers rather than an add-on you get asked about mid-treatment. There is nothing to decline at the chair — the price you booked is the price you pay.

Can I combine it with another treatment the same day?

Often, yes — HydraFacial pairs well with dermaplaning or an injectable appointment, and clients heading into an event frequently stack it with a Jan Marini Go & Glow Facial on a separate visit. Sequencing matters, though, so ask us rather than assume; we'll tell you plainly if two things should be a week apart.

The details

HydraFacial, in full

The glow everyone asks about

You know the look. Skin that catches light instead of absorbing it, pores that have stopped announcing themselves, makeup that sits down instead of sitting on top. That’s a HydraFacial — and it’s the single most requested treatment in our aesthetics room, because it delivers a visible result in under an hour without asking anything of your calendar afterward.

Our HydraFacial runs on the Syndeo, the newest and most advanced HydraFacial device on the market. We use medical-grade products and build a fully individualized treatment around your skin — T-zone congestion, active acne, texture, dullness, dehydration, or all of the above on the same face.

The appointment, start to finish

Every HydraFacial here runs the same core sequence, whichever tier you book:

  1. Cleanse and exfoliate. The vortex tip lifts dead surface cells and loosens what’s sitting in your pores.
  2. Resurface. A light peel, calibrated to your skin.
  3. Extract. Gentle vacuum suction clears out congestion — no squeezing, no fingernails, no bruising.
  4. Hydrate. Peptides, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acid go in while the skin is most receptive.

Deluxe adds a booster, red-light therapy and a Jan Marini medical-grade finish. Platinum adds dermaplaning, lymphatic drainage, extended extractions and an exosome infusion on top of that. Whichever you book, everything in that tier is in the price — there is nothing to decline at the chair.

Three ways to glow

The Helix HydraFacial — $189. The Signature protocol done right. A gentle cleanse and exfoliation, a light resurfacing peel, painless vortex extractions that clear pores without squeezing, and a deep infusion of antioxidant hydration. About 30–45 minutes, no downtime, and you walk out with a glow that people ask about. The perfect first HydraFacial, or the monthly reset for skin that’s already in good shape.

Helix Deluxe HydraFacial — $249. Everything in the Signature, plus a targeted booster serum chosen for your skin, whether that’s brightening, firming, clarifying, or calming, followed by red-light therapy to calm redness and support collagen, and finished with Jan Marini medical-grade skincare. Red light and finishing products are included here; most spas charge for both. About 45–60 minutes. This is the one most of our clients settle into.

Helix Platinum HydraFacial — $329. Our most complete treatment, for skin that’s ready for real change. Everything in the Deluxe, plus dermaplaning to remove dead skin and peach fuzz so every serum goes deeper, lymphatic drainage to de-puff and brighten, extended extractions for congested areas, and an exosome infusion for regenerative repair. Exosomes are included; they’re typically a $200–$400 add-on elsewhere. Roughly 75–90 minutes. Book it before an event, or when you want the best your skin can look.

Every tier is built for men too. No adjustments, no upcharge.

If you’re not sure, book the Helix and tell your provider what’s bothering you. They’ll tell you straight whether you needed the upgrade.

Why Galveston clients come back for this one

Island living is hard on skin. Salt air, humidity, sun that doesn’t take the winter off, and — if you work anywhere near the port or the Strand — long days outside. A HydraFacial doesn’t undo that permanently, but it’s an exceptionally efficient monthly reset, and it’s forgiving enough that you can do it on a Friday and still look like yourself on Friday night.

Pricing is on this page, in the cards below. If you want to layer something deeper into your routine, the natural next step is SkinPen microneedling for texture and collagen, or a look at our full facial menu.
