Facial treatment — common questions
I'm on a cruise out of Galveston. Can I fit a facial in before we sail?
Frequently, yes — we're on Mechanic Street, minutes from the terminal, and the Jan Marini Go & Glow Facial and HydraFacial both run inside an hour with no downtime. Call ahead rather than walk in; embarkation days are busy and we'd rather hold a slot than turn you away. And if you're coming off a ship instead of onto one, ask about an IV while you're here.
What if I've never had this treatment and my wedding is next week?
Then next week is not the week to try something new, and any clinic that tells you otherwise is prioritizing the booking over your face. Our advice, plainly: if you have a week, book the Jan Marini Go & Glow Facial — it's zero-downtime by design. If you have a month, do a HydraFacial now and a second one three to five days out, so the second one is a known quantity.
Bridal party — can you do several of us together?
Call us at 409.498.5011 and tell us the headcount and the date. Group timing takes coordination, and the earlier we know, the better we can sequence it so nobody's the one person still pink in the photos.
What's the single best pre-photo treatment?
HydraFacial three to five days out, with lymphatic drainage added if you photograph puffy. It's the most reliable combination of visible glow and zero risk we offer, and skin photographs hydrated far better than it photographs matte.
Can I get a facial the same day as Botox or filler?
Generally we sequence rather than stack — injectables want the skin left alone for a bit, and a resurfacing treatment on freshly injected skin isn't a combination we like. If both are on your list before an event, book injectables first with real runway, then the facial closer in. Tell us the whole plan and we'll build the calendar backward from your date.

Most people book a facial for a reason, and the reason has a date
Nobody wakes up wanting an exfoliation. They wake up remembering that the rehearsal dinner is Friday, or that the ship leaves at four, or that there are going to be a hundred photographs of them on Saturday and they’d like to recognize the person in them.

You have 24–48 hours
Jan Marini Go & Glow Facial — $149.
This is the treatment built for the phone call you’re about to make. A professional cleanse, gentle exfoliation and a hydration finish with Jan Marini medical-grade skincare — about 30 minutes, absolutely zero downtime, and no gamble about whether you’ll still be pink tomorrow.
It is genuinely the right answer at this range, and it’s the only one we’ll recommend this close to a date you can’t move.
The CO2Lift carboxy mask — $125 is the other safe answer this close in, and it’s the safest of all: no acids, no exfoliation, nothing that can leave you pink. Carbon dioxide released into the skin draws oxygen-rich blood to the surface, and you leave plumper and more hydrated than you arrived. Gentle enough for the under-eyes. Add it to the Go & Glow for $89 if you want both.
You have 3–5 days
The Helix HydraFacial — $189.
The starting point: cleansing, exfoliation, a light resurfacing peel, extraction and hydration, all in the price. Three to five days lets any faint pinkness settle completely and gives the hydration time to fully express itself.
Want red-light therapy and a Jan Marini finish as well? That’s the Deluxe — $249. If you photograph puffy, the Platinum below includes lymphatic drainage.
You have 5–7 days
Helix Platinum HydraFacial — $329. Extended extractions, lymphatic drainage, a booster, dermaplaning, and an exosome infusion.
Worth the extra runway if your skin is genuinely congested. Deeper extraction work is more effective and wants a couple more days to settle. Don’t compress this one into 48 hours.
You have 2+ weeks
Now the whole menu opens up.
Advanced Peels for real pigment and sun damage — the deep end, tiered by depth, and the only treatments here that ask something of your calendar afterward. Dermaplaning two or three days out, alone or before a HydraFacial. And if texture is the real complaint, SkinPen microneedling — though that’s a series, not a save.
The rule we won’t break
Don’t try something new the week of an event.
We’ll turn down a booking over this, and we’ve done it. If your wedding is Saturday, Saturday is not the day to discover how your skin responds to an advanced peel. The right sequence is: unfamiliar treatment early, familiar treatment close in.

We’re at 2424 Mechanic St, minutes from the terminal. Hours are Mon–Fri 9am–5pm CST and Sat 9am–2pm CST; closed Sunday.
If you’re sailing Sunday, Saturday morning works — call ahead. If you’re coming off a ship and would rather feel human again than glow, an IV drip is probably the more useful purchase, and we’d tell you that instead of selling you a facial.
